NGC300 Galaxy

NGC 300 is a Spiral Galaxy in the Sculptor constellation. NGC 300 is situated south of the celestial equator and, as such, it is more easily visible from the southern hemisphere.

Distance to the object- 6 mln light years; angular size in the sky is about 22’X16’ (minutes); diameter of the object – about 94,000 light years.

Mount-Mathis MI-1000/1250; Scope- Planewave CDK24, 6100 mm aperture, 3962mm focal length; Camera- QHY600 M Pro, 0.62 arcsec/pixel.

Observatory

Telescope Live, El Sauce Observatory, Chile.

Exposure

LRGB filters, total exposure- 12 hours 0 min.
